ELLIE LONSDALE, BA(HONS) ILLUSTRATION – SHORTLISTED FOR BATSFORD PRIZE
Bird Brain is a wordless graphic novel/zine that explores the way that our memories are distorted over time. It investigates this theme through the mindscape of the main character; we traverse through their internal ‘planet’ of forests and mountains trying to locate a lost memory.
Congratulations got to Ellie Lonsdale who has been shortlisted for The Batsford Prize 2020–2021. The winners will be announced in June, which include the winner of the People’s Choice Award, a new award where Batsford invite the public to choose their favourite from the judges’ shortlist.
